About me

Hello, my name is Roman.

I’m a software developer since 2005 when I wrote my first calculator app in Visual Basic.

Since then, I learned many tools, frameworks and languages. Java together with Spring framework opened for me the world of “real” software development, and this suit remains my main tool until now.

However, I like exploring new things, that’s why I have a few pet projects where I can play around with the new languages and tools. Currently, I’m Kotlin for backend development and Flutter - for cross-platform “frontend”.

In this blog, I share my thoughts and ideas about the world of software development.
